Default More Drone Issues...

This is a bit closer to home. Major fire in LA.. fire fighter efforts hampered by 5 drones ... 3 ceased flying while 2 others caused delays in fire fighter efforts for over 15 minutes.

Somehow the news has video's despite the fact that news helicopters should be banned!

If the media is using the helis, I'll bet it is being done with diligence and by responsible parties. If I witnessed this here, I would have a good mind to fire a gun at the thing. So when your 1000 dollar bird is all mangled by an angry bystander and/or the authorities start to hand out hefty fines for idiocy, then maybe people might think twice before using these machines in questionable areas.

Sport, you jest....those helicopters have people inside them....so they have an automatic privilege to fly over other people and their property... who ever heard of helicopters crashing anyway???

Honestly, I wish it hadn't been needed, they still haven't found that child

But it was nice that they are in the media in a positive light for a change

It's been since Thursday night/Friday morning. I'm pretty sure they are considering it a recovery/murder investigation and not a rescue at this point.

Why would they consider it murder when children have been missing till adults? Remember the girls that freed themselves imprisoned in a home for years?

I don't want to clutter this thread with the details but this one won't end well. If I had to guess they were looking for remains from the start. It's a very sad story

Referring to the original issue in this thread, the stakes were just raised:

Interesting to note the rewards offered...makes it pretty clear there are already means in place to prosecute...
