Nice pic, Thank You for sharing Dennis
I sold my last one about 15 years ago. I've still kept my motorcycle license for "just in case", but as the years dwindle I'm not sure if it'll ever happen again....

The bike is a 1999 Yamaha Roadstar and has always rode n handled like a forever bike. A keeper for sure not worth much in todays market but fun to ride.
Usually only put it away with the first snow and road salt.

72 still rolling guess when I have to have help picking it up I might have to rethink. Met a guy this summer 84 and he was still riding. Biggest sh#t azz grin you ever saw. Rode together better part of the day don't think he ever stopped grinning.

The sad part is that most of their line is now made in India.
Same with Royal Enfield made in India.
Triumph Tiger was my second bike, and I had several others through the years. I even had a Triumph 500 cc military version, no chrome, single-seater and pannier racks on the back. I was lucky enough to acquire a 1956 Arial Red Hunter, British 500 cc single with magneto and manual advance. I've been lucky enough to be able to have owned a few nice bikes, from old to modern.

Disclaimer: All of those were random internet pics. Never had any of them myself. I DO however, own a 1971 240Z that I absolutely love! And yes, you were lucky to have survived totaling that car! The sports cars of that era had very little consideration for safety, especially by todays' standards.

I always wanted a 240 or 260, thought they were great cars. I get to play in the good weather with these instead.

I was more of an American Muscle kinda guy. I regret not taking more pictures. Had what I think was a nice collection. My first car was a 1970 Firebird 350, 4 speed. Followed was a 1976 Trans Am, 1969 Camero, 1970 Nova and a 1968 Firebird. Only picture I was able to find was of the 1976 Trans Am. This car was the beginning of my affinity for fiberglass work.

Very nice. Buddy of mine had (I think) a '69 Camaro SS convertible 4 speed manual. The thing was a hoot.
I always had a thing for the old British stuff. Would get one of these if I ever hit the lottery, there are nit many left in existence anymore (last I heard the number was something like 11)

I did something similar. This is what my first sports car looked like. I would probably still have it today, that is IF I hadn't let the "X" force me into trading it for a 1984 Z-28. It wasn't the fastest "bird" but it was a fun car. With a Turbo 301 and a Turbo 350 transmission, it could get up to around 120 though I never pushed it that hard

My fave has always been the Super 7 built in British Columbia, Canada. David Peck has passed, and I heard the company has been sold to the Chinese, go figure. When I was growing up, the neighbor had an early one by Lotus, and it was the closest thing to a go-kart with a car motor, LOL!

I've considered getting the Caterham 500 as a kit (I think they are still available that way), when and if I ever get a proper garage/barn built on my property.
The rate I'm going, it gonna have to be a pretty big barn😳
This looks like way too much fun:
