Over the years I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Yeager, Hoover, Loudenslager and a few others. Wish I had had the opportunity to meet and talk to Art. He was absolutely one of my favorite pilots of all time.

Thanks. No real interest as of yet. I have an Aeromaster kit combo with an ST G60 blue head, Kraft wheels and fuel tank listed too with no interest. Looks like I’ll be building that over the winter.

Gee, the forum went silent again. Did everyone run out of things to talk about?

Used to take me an hour a day just to read all the new posts in my favorite forums, building, repair, conversions...Its sad.. I always wonder when I come to the site if it will even be here.

Not the same RCU it once was. FB groups are thriving and although more or less moderated by the group owner are more civil. I moderate a pattern group and have very rarely had to take action.

RCM always had the babes on the cover just about every month.

the really good one for babes on the cover, was R/C Scale Modeller...

and inside, as well.

Maybe we can start a "Bring back the babes" petition.....

Yeah, , I know, I know , we'd have to have a "Bring back the RC planes" movement first.....

they would also have to "genuine" babes as well...

And that would be the hard part, finding genuine babes. Seems like, more often than not, what would have been a babe is covered with tattoos and body piercings, something that actually take away from the looks and make them very un-babe looking. Of the three shown above, I like the Raiderette look the best

Agreed, half the fun of getting the new RCM was to drool over the cover. Once had a club member take a photo of an airplane with his daughter and send it in. They did use the picture but in the long run I don’t think he thought it was such a good idea.
