AMA Survey
Received this yesterday via email.Just curious who else got it and did you respond.
" The Academy of Model Aeronautics is conducting an opinion survey regarding the use of small unmanned aircraft systems including technologies such as multirotor, "drones", First-person-view (FPV), autopilots, and aerial video/image recording as well as COMMERCIAL USE of sUAS. We would greatly appreciate a few minutes of your time "

My Feedback: (1)
My first reaction to the survey was, "Hey, they are FINALLY listening!"
As I got deeper into the questions I started to get the feeling the intent of the survey was to simply glean marketing intel regarding drone usage instead of an honest effort to listen to members' wishes.
I sincerely hope I am wrong.
Regards,
Astro

I wish I had gotten that e-mail, but of course they don't want to hear from Leader Members. The FPV flying is just an out door simulator that can damage property and hurt people. We have a couple guys in our club, we just land and wait until they are done with their 5 minutes of "FLYING". No big deal yet.
Just my opinion
