I am not a member of AMA yet. I was looking for a list of rules and regulations and couldnt find any. I guess I didnt search that hard because I am sure they are right under my nose somewhere.
Looking for information about engine and fuel restrictions if there are any.

Try the AMA web site: http://www.modelaircraft.org/templates/ama/
Look under Membership Services and select the 2003 Safety Code. Be sure to check the referenced documents in it. A lot depends on the type of aircraft you are flying.
Contacting a local club and visiting it is a good way to find out too. There is a list of chartered clubs on the site.
