OH! MY GOD! THE AMA AND THE HOBBY WILL DIE IF WE CONTINUE TO FLY HARMLESS PARKFLYIERS AT STADIUM GAMES.
Ok, I didn't see the video as it wouldn't play, but I am told it was only about a 16 inch span micro. Maybe it could put an eye out, but the baseball's can kill. IMO AMA makes itself look silly to even address this.

Here's is a good link. I wonder if the flier had an AMA card? Not a good thing for the Park Flier membership. This may be harmless and fun for some people, but still hurts the hobby. AMA I think was right to at least try to lessen any damage from this kind of thing to the hobby.

It made itself look foolish. The baseballs are more dangerous! Link doesn't work, blocked out.

I'm somewhat amazed he could smuggle the plane and xmitter in the stadium.

I thought the audience’s apparent interest was amazing.
I imagine AMA will eventually get quite a few new members from this exposure.
I am still pulling for model aviation to be a bigger pastime than baseball and this crowd's enthusiasm showed it might be possible if we will quit peeing on it with the usual BS SOP…oh well, just had to dream a bit…May the pissing continue with the regularly scheduled programming.

Myself, I thought it was in bad taste, and didn't do anything positive for the sport of RC. My question is now, whether the AMA will gain more members from this act, or will there be more major league baseball players gained from all those in attendance?

Years ago a person was killed by a model plane in a statium, flying during a game. The plane put two people in the hospital. One died the next day. Both were in their 20's.
