KMP Texan

Hi Greg,
In that above engine shot I was showing the engine mount.
I made those larger stand offs and also added that Alumiun plate
To reinforce that firewall.
The tail wheel just has functional strut, as the real one did not retract the as well.
The wing mounts are kinda of a new way of mounting for me, never seen it that way
Before. But they do seem to be strong enough. Mine lined up very well, but my buddies
kmp corsair did not.
I had a small little video showing the retracting of the gear shows the scale retracting process
but I can't seem to find out how to load video, might have to load to my web site than link it to there.
Going to work on the wiring of the glow to controller today and other parts.
So far this has been a great project
Paul

Sunny, Great mod on the tailwheel setup. Makes you wonder why they didn't design it this way in the first place instead of the CHEESY little wood plate glued to the bottom of the fuse with no support whatsoever and no access! Amatuer hour design. Not a great fit on the upper fuse/cockpit piece either. So far I have found the quality of the ESM kits to be much higher then this KMP offering.

You have done a great job on the Texan Paul.
Looks like you have spent a lot of time and effort to get it looking right. The mods you have done and the cockpit info has been great. I am still looking forward to getting one. Once things get a bit more organized around here. But looking at yours make me want one even more.
Regards Greg
