Old ARF Canopy?
#1
Got an old Hangar 9 Advance 40 that I recently restored, i flies great! Sadly, they've long since stopped making this ARF, and I've been flyin the covering offa it (no joke), cracks are growing in the canopy from the screw holes, and there's only so much CAing til it just starts to look like crap. Anybody have one of these planes that is just too far gone but still have a good condition canopy? If not, any ideas on how I can get a good substitute or make one?

Head over to parkflyerplastics.com
They have suitable canopies, or use a "part" from something newer.
Measure the dimensions and then look for a similiarly built plane...

Aah the good 'ole days when you could walk into a hobby shop and pull one off the shelf and walk out with one that would be close enough to make work,,
Kinda Ironic that the ARFs kill the kits and spare parts in shops and now you need one for an ARF
get your dimensions and start looking http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0093p?&C=ATD
