Hey, I'm new to Radio Control aircraft and am building my 1st trainer a size 40 Right flyer 40T. It will be powered with an OS 46LX and Futaba electrics.
I'm sure I will beat it to death etc as a new RC pilot. My question is I would like to start building my next plane and I would like to build both an aerobatic low wing, and a Bipe.
I could use the collective wisdom in the forum on a 40 size Bipe and a low wing stunt plane. I don't want something I will outgrow in a week, a challange is good. I want to build something that is Quality and flys great.
I can hear the humor and guffaws from the esperts but hey, I want the challange. What would be a good Bipe and Low wing 40 szie to look at?
Tnx,
Mark

The Goldberg Tiger 2 is a good 40 size low wing and would be a logical second plane. Don't know if it would qualify as a "stunt" plane. Dave Patrick and Global each make a 40 size Ultimate ARF. Do a search on these planes and you will find lots of info.
I am sure others will have different suggestions.

A sig Somethin Extra would be a good second plane. I kick myself everytime I see one fly since I sold mine. They are hard to beat IMOP.
As for a bipe I have seen the DP Ultimate 40 fly this past weekend and it seemed like a solid plane.

2nd plane? One of the Sticks from Hanger 9. The 40 size is really fun. You can learn to use Flpas as well. Lands easily and also can burn holes in the sky. Cheap, ez to prepare and a blast to fly.
As far as Bipes I dont have any so its hard to suggest.
good luck and happy landings
