Hello JP-14
Im just putting the finishing touches on my Seagull Edge 540, I did reinforce the Horz. stab with wire struts and a few other modification to the wing & fuse to straighten the wing. I did reduce the high rate & low rate throws 1/8 that is recomended in the manual.
I hope to have in in the air when the heat and humidity goes down alittle.
You might want to check out some of the threats already started here in RCU. Just type in Seagull Edge 540 . Some of the guys have posted there flight reports there.
It is very well put together ARF

I put a gallon of fuel through mine just this past weekend, have had it for about 3 months...lots of fuel through it.
Mine is powered by a thunder tiger .61 swinging a 13x6 prop. I have the elevator throws pretty low but everything else is max. The plane flies great, but I would recommend changing out the landing gear as they will bend, (pretty cheap pot metal) Other than that it's a great flying plane, I did not make any modifications, just put it together and it flies great with normal servos. I find myself flying it more than I do my DP Edge 540, as it sharpens the skills..
