I've just finished assembly of this plane. The instructions call for the CG 5.9 inches from the leading edge. This seems too far back to me. Any thoughts?

Use this calculator, and start out at about 25-28% of MAC:

Interesting calculator Terry, but about a wing (like the Zero) that has what seems to be equal taper in both the leading AND trailing edges. Will the MAC simply go back to being represented at either the root or tip cord??

If the taper is the same front and rear, I suppose it would, but if there is any differance in taper, it will calculate it.

If you doubt that the manual is correct, then give Airborne Models a call on the phone and ask them or send an email. They are the US distributors for World Models and they most likely have already flown this plane here in California.
