I ordered a kit on the internet from Quantom models ,it arrived 5 days later.
Excellent service.
If Towers hobbies would be prepared to export kits to the U.K. they could make alot of business.

Hi I also had great service from Quantum.. I'll make it short..I needed a Cloud Dancer 40 cowl.. Called Ace no help.. Called Quantum, they called Ace and got me the cowl.. Now the cowl was only a $5.00, but they went the extra mile.. So Quantum will get my business now.. Oh yeah I tried all my LHS (4) they all said it was back ordered.

While I agree with ALL of the above, and have always had good luck with Quantum, allow me to add this:
The Website could be much improved, by including some kind of online inventory system, or just some way to tell if something is out of stock before you finalize your order.
I know, I know, that's why God invented the telephone![sm=biggrin.gif]

Agreed with Quantum's excellent service. Though a distance second to Tower Hobbies as far as my internet RC purchases go, Quantum gets my vote for their vast selection of products.
Also agree that an online inventory info would be great. These days, I don't like phone orders. Online ordering leaves a very nice "paper trail" so there is little dispute as to what was ordered.

They seem ok I guess. I kinda wish they told me they didnt have half of my order untile they sent it two weeks later. They would have billed me three seperate times because stuff was so back ordered. I guess I should have just picked up the phone.

Yup! I always order by phone. And I try to always get the name of the person I'm dealing with too.
As far as Quantum goes, they are top notch. Great Customer service, and fair prices. And as mentioned, free shipping on orders over hundred bucks. I recently bought a Magnum XLS 52 from them, and a glow plug, $102.and change. Not bad, and it arrived less than a week after I ordered it.
What I have noticed though is that they tend to carry a little different stock than Tower. But they will go out of their way to get what you need. So I don't think you can compare them. Not that one is better than the other, they are just different.
I agree Quantums website could use a facelift...kinda like RCU did. But other than that, I have no complaints.
GOOD JOB! Quantum Models.

I know Dave, and I think he's one of the nicest people you would ever meet. Always there to help whenever you need it. I think he's done a great job with his business, and he can sure beat the heck out of tower.

Quantum is fantastic, so is Tower.
Q's internet doesn't tell you stuff is out of stock like Tower's and even sometimes Tower's internet and phone is a bit outdated. A few times Tower told me everything was in stock, even the "Low Stock" items, but a week later, stuff wasn't here, because they were actually out of it, and wasn't backordered because it was less than $10 bucks, annoying.
Please keep in mind, although we all have to make our hobby dollars go as far as we can, there are still LHS that depend on our business to keep them in business. Isn't it nice if you need a glow plug or prop Saturday morning, you can get one on the way out to the field, or if you running low on fuel? Now, if you LHS are idiots and mean people, than thats another story.
