Hangar 9 Meridian 10cc build thread with Evolution 10cc gasser engine

My Feedback: (2)
My plan is to just keep an eye on my charger when it tells me it's done charging the battery. I'm only flying to half capacity, and as long as I'm cycling my batteries occasionally to verify capacity, this should keep me good to go?
The problems I see with telemetry are twofold. First, there's the difference in line/receiver buss voltage the telemetry is reporting depending on the load/amperage being drawn on it, and 2, the virtually flat discharge line gives you nothing in the way of a point to monitor?
To see the potential difference in line voltage while in flight, turn everything on and stir the trans. sticks while looking at your voltage reading on the transmitter. If yours is anything like my A9, the telemetry voltage reading will be difficult to read, not be anything steady at all? I suppose, if you watched that for a minute, you may find the lower value it's displaying and set your alarm for that or maybe a hair lower?
Regarding the LiFe chemistry, the power tool guys have converted to it, and they abuse their batteries like I do a 3D trainer? There's nothing negative coming from that camp at all! That gives me all the confidence I need.....

I actually expected the telemetry alarm to false during heavy loading with a 6.4v setting but have taken several of the Rx batteries to half capacity and that hasn't happened yet.

Got my Meridian and my Evo 10cc this week. Started the build last night. So far, looks to be high quality model.
Question, does anyone have any recommendation for mounting engine inverted or 90 degrees? The reason I'm asking is two fold, one to get a cleaner look on top of fuse without head sticking up and getting exhaust pipe on underside of airplane (if mounted 90 degrees). Suggestions? Comments, pics, already done it? Any advise would be great.

Inverted 10cc evolution engine in hangar 9 meridian. Will it work? I think I can trim engine mount to make throttle cable work. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Let me know how the engine runs inverted. I had a heck of a time to get mine run without loading up with fuel. The engine was in a different plane. It now is in a Meridian that I converted to a tail dragger.
