For those who are interested, I'm very happy with this combination. Flies nice at low power settings, and since the setting is low it is very quiet. With full power it has no problem going vertical. Also, hand launching it is really easy, don't even have to run w/ it, just toss it and it climbs no prob. Once airbourne i trim the idle back and have no prob with slow approaches.

Flydenfeld,
Could you let me know if the engine mount that comes with the Avistar is an adjustable one ? I'm looking for an ARF in the 40-45 size range that could be used as an engine tester-breakin test plane. If not could you give me the dimentions of the space between beams for mounting room ?
Thanks
Dennis
