Anyone out there ever converted a trainer or simular type plane from rubber band mounted wings to bolt on? I'm still flying my Tower 40 Trainer. Would luv to get away from the rubber bands. Pictures would help if ya got'um.

Hey Cliff,
I have done this on a couple SuperStar 40.. Even tho I know one can use a single pin in front I usually use two pins in front, and two bolts in rear.. Make sure wing fits saddle as perfect as you can.. I use a hardwood block to front of wing saddle to receive wing pins and a hardwood block with blind nuts to receive rear bolts... I have a twin stix that has four bolts, two front, two rear..
If someone can tell me how to add pics to these dang post I can try to whip up a couple as I have one I am doing right now.. I already have both blocks in but have not covered fuse yet.. Wing is done and covered..
I also change them from single Aileron servo to dual servo, one per side, so I have lots of room in wing center..
Robby ( ANY plane can 3-D, )

This a Global Right Flyer 60 size that was converted to remove the rubber bands.
Just added a piece of 1/4 lite ply to the front for the dowel to slide into, and bulit up the back saddle with a anothe piece of 1/4 with maple blocks under it. This was to allow the 1/4 nylon bolts.
Made a small cutout in leading edge of wing and insert 1 1/4 inch dowel with lots of epoxy...
Project was a lot of fun and aircraft flys great.
Hardest part was removing the sticky back covering.
