The LED's on the Dynam's will burn out with voltages over 3-4 volts.

They are also not very bright, and you will NOT see them at all during the day, nor at dusk!

If you want the amusement of seeing them on, hook up two AA batteries in series using commonly available battery housings.

The wires are appropriately coded... e.g. red is positive.

You can wire in connectors if you wish or just strip the wires and try the lights out to see if you'll really want to go through setting them up.

Consider replacing the LED's with a lighting kit. You can use those pre-run wires to prevent you from having to run more.

RAM lights are pretty good, as you want something VERY bright if you hope to see it during daylight.

thanks for he reply,I think I will not bother with them as red is hard to see,as I do on most my planes with dark leading edges,I run a strip of whiet take to better see the model as it is coming in on final.
I also have the large 72" Waco from top flight,it has plenty of room for a good landing light and I will also put white tape on the leading edges,we fly with a lot of pine tress and when the model drops below the tree line dark leading edges are hard to see.
