Nice Job!!!! It is really sad that H9 builds some good stuff and puts CRAP out for them!! It looks like they built it for electric. They floats are made to fly out of a pond, not a lake. Also the plane looks just like the one Slip Stream has out...... Just saying

Default ok,,,few things messed up..

Working on mounting floats!! the front struts are NOT long enough for this measurement....PUT THESE IN LAST!!!! You have to make them mount in a different spot, bout a 1/2 inch down!! not good for the regular ARF'r.... you will pull out your hair, and I should have known better...

Beavers are noted for being tail heavy, so I put the wings on it just to check. I like to do this just in case i need to add weight, since this plane will NEVER see the gear, I'll put the lead in the nose of the floats, It fell right on its ass, as soon as I picked it up!!.. I use lead shot mixed with Gorilla Glue mixed with a little bit of water to activate. pour in the front of em, tip em up on the nose of floats, and let stand over night!!.. done!!.. ill work that tonight, so I can paint Sunday!!

All beavers look alike, But you will notice a BIG difference in the 2...hahahaha... the hanger-9, is a VERY close representation of a '55-'58 beaver with mods to the rear windows!!...it is really nice,,, what would be better is that if Hanger-9 made a float that was JUST for the beaver...Meaning there is no Cross braces in the struts of a real Beaver. The steps, "I will add" is what keeps it in line along with Cable, but not on the sides, between the struts... This IS the beaver I have been waiting for!! worth it so far, just gotta bash a few things...

Interesting solution.

Thanks for the heads up. I was just doing the silicon on the hatches on mine so I would have been on that step tomorrow

You would be surprised where Moosehead is available. Frankly, a couple cases of Molson's Golden wouldn't be abad thing.

I guess I am a real dork but I truly believe that alcohol and flying don't mix .. I believe in the old saying 8 hrs.from the bottle to the throttle. I guess this is left over from my full size days .

I don't think it is a statement about drinking and flying. Those planes hauled freight as well as passengers, and I'm sure many a case of beer was flown into the boondocks.

biker...I don't drink and fly either...we are referring to the cases of Moosehead beer you can see through the plane windows. I just thought a couple of Molson's should be added.

I apologize if I offended anyone . And yes you are right they hauled a tremendous amount of freight including much beer . I can be a real sap at times but drinking and flying has a real tender spot for me that I don't want to go into other than to say I am sorry if hurt anyone's feelings ..

Biker I didn't take your comments that way at all. Drinking and flying is not a good idea. Maybe not so much in the air, since no passengers but in the pits it sure is.

I think it is a GREAT idea to put something, ANYTHING in there!! Just like the Bravata... it is wide open and all you see is wood, covering, and wires...... Covering it up is great!! I know some people take RC flying and real flying is the same and it is SO WRONG!! Putting props in rc planes, markings on rc planes and people get upset for some reason.... I do not understand why.... It was/is a part of aviation history! It is very sad that "YOU" don't like it and tell the CD that "YOU" want something done with it! I have a Ziroli Stuka and "I" like flying it, because it is just a gentle flyer... It is a part of our history and I know people were killed, BUT....... IT'S A RC PLANE...... EVERY plane has some kind of BAD history behind it...... We MUST move on past this..... I for one was upset with the commit bikerbc made, because he was putting the 2 together... I apologize bikerbc as I shouldn't have got upset and tried to figure where you was coming from....... but I can laugh now as now I know.... Heads up everyone, and lets just fly all together now! Sounds like "Yellow Submarine song" LO ROF!!!

Cublover I do have a question on how you did the cargo we can see through the windows? I am getting ready to add scale details to my new Aeroworks Cessna 195. I will be adding scale details in the cockpit and I am looking for ways to fill in the space behind the pilots seat. Is it just a photo mounted inside?
