I have just completed building a Ryan Sta ARF. I installed an OS .95 2-Stroke nitro engine and am concerned about balancing it according to the instructions. The CG is described as 80mm from the front edge of the wings. However, it is significantly nose heavy no mater where I place the 5-cell battery. Using a balancer, I seem to need over 3oz of weight in, or on the tail to make it balance. Can this be correct? Does anyone have experience with this ARF and can recommend a solution? If so, please forward your response to me at [email protected].
Tnx. Regards, TJCiccone

My balancing concern: I would have to embed my 5-cell battery as far aft as possible inside the fuselage and also add 3 or more ounces somewhere on or near the tail. It may be normal/correct but I've not had that experience with any other ARF. Therefore, I would love to talk to someone that has successfully flown that airplane with a .91 or .95 2- stroke engine to confirm. Tnx.
