Default overheating in a GP Pitts

I have a GP 1/3 scale Pitts with a FPE 3.2 I've been having trouble with it running hot. I've just about cut the whole bottom off the cowl. It would run for 5m 30s and cut off like clock work. I inlarged the front holes by 50%. it still looks good and I've got it to 9m30s. I don't want to cut any more. is there any thing else I could do. How about a baffle of some kind?
Has any one else had this problem with there Pitts.
Thanks for any info.
Kelly

Also the engine has been ran before in a WM Extra 300 with no poblems.

Could be maybe you've cut out too much on the front when you should have cut out more on the bottom rear of the cowl as that is where the cooling air has to exit. I have a Pitts with a Fuji 50 and have ran it about one and a half hours with no problem. This was just break-in runs in the garage however, as mine has not flown. I don't know this for a fact, but it seems to me I read something to this effect in a post on the old rcairport site. Anybody else have any thoughts?

Don't enlarge the entry holes but the exit ones. This will improve airflow.

if i cut any more of the bottom out there will be nothing left of the cowl. that is not my problem. I think it is more of a terbulance problem. I"m going to put a baffle in to make the air go where I want it to go.
Thanks for the reply.
