Default Dimension Request - DP 120 Ultimate

Can anyone that owns a DP 120-size Ultimate take a measurement for me? I'm looking for the width of the fuselage about an inch in front of the horizontal stabilizer (right from where it contacts the fuselage).

I'm asking because I have this plane on order and want to know if it will fit into a PVC carrier I've made for my GP Ryan. The front of it has come loose, and before I reglue it I'd like to know if I can use this for the Ultimate as well (in which case instead of just gluing it I'll come up with something so I can swap planes).

Thanks, and here's a pic to better show what I'm looking for, and why:

That's going to work for me. I figured it would, but I wanted to make sure before I did any mods on it (Bipes always looked pretty wide to me). My Ryan is about 3 1/4" wide at that point. PVC holders are cheap to make (that one cost me a grand total of thirty bucks), but I'd rather not store another one. Thanks much!
