Sounds like a small problem to me, call the card company and you can dispute the charge. I think most places will only ship to the card address for just this reason. I don't think we are getting the full story

I concur with the vendor only sending to the address on the card. Had it happen to me when I wanted something shipped to my work address because of bad weather. I didn't want the package sitting outside at home, but didn't have a choice []

How do you know it went to the wrong address? Did you call them and they confirm they sent it to an address different than the billing address for your card? See they confirm all the info before they fill the order, Available credit limit, billing address, authorized name. If this is so I would call back and request a supervisor. You make enough noise and they will make it right. If they confirm this info and send it to the wrong address then the card company should credit you and pull the pmt back from the payee. they will not do this more than a few times.

Heres wishing you well

Miloh.

I bought one of the Giles from Creek. It arrived with damage to a wing (some crushing), a broken piece in the fuse about midway to the tail, and a crack at the front of the slot for the vertical stab. I emailed them three times, and never got a response.

I repaired the damage and flew the plane. I was breaking in the OS 1.60 in the plane, so I was just doing some lazy maneuvers. On the backside of a loop, the tail feathers separated from the fuse... yes, total disaster.

I contacted Creek. It was like pulling teeth to talk to a decision maker. After much documentation, I finally settled for paying them ANOTHER $50 and shipping to replace it.

This ISN'T Great Planes. Don't expect comparable service. It ain't happening.

It gets worse....

I built and flew the replacement Giles G202 from Creek Hobbies. One outside loop, still inverted, one half of the horizontal stab separates from the plane. The rest is inevitable...total destruction.

I have been in this hobby 25 years - know how to build....this wasn't some rookie mistake - it's a major defect in the design.

Be advised....forewarned is fore-armed.

I'm not even bothering contacting Creek.... They spend all their time implying you don't know how to build and then charging a fee to replace their junk.

Default Creek Hobbies - to buy or not to buy

My experience with Creek Hobbies has been abysmal.

I bought my first Giles G202 from them only to have it fail in the air.

After two weeks of constant phone calls, I finally got a replacement for $50, plus shipping (what can you do? They had me by the throat).

I finally built the replacement and had a similar failure.

The planes were built exactly to the plans. I set the fly wires by measuring the deflection with a known force at the center. Each wire was set for the same tension.....fairly taught. I took great care.

In my opinion, the quality of design, building, and materials are subpar for quarter scale aircraft from Creek Hobbies.
