Anyone with ideas on a good intermediate ARF.....needs a WS of about 80", so it is easy to see. Weight to fit a 90-108 2 stroke, using standard servos, etc. to keep price down. Symetrical wing, stable, good size rudder, tough enough to take some abuse, etc.....a good plane to learn how to "FLY", ie. how to use rudder, how to crab in to land, all the basic aerobatic manuvers.......any ideas? thanks wc

Perhaps a 4-star 120, or a Goldberg Tiger II sixty size.
If you really must have a large plane first, with standard servos, you might build a Telemaster, or have one built for you. As for an 80" ARF with standard servos... Maybe a H9 Cub, with a .56 fourstroke.
Good luck.

Dave,
A 4* 120 for a 90-108? I think he'd be better off with the 4* 60/90 combo.
Another great choice is the DragonLady ARF (60) that has a wide range of motors you can use. I had one for years that had a ST 1.41ci up front that flew awesome. A 108 would be perfect for a "intermediate" level. This plane does all the basics plus more! (add dual aileron servos though)
I have the same combo just waiting for me to make some time to put it together.

OK guys, Thanks for suggestions.....have you ever seen or flown a Jerrys Big Boy by Morris Hobbies? They fly great and meet all the requirements.......BUT you have to build them, I built one and it is still flying with a smaller engine, but I don't have the space anymore........thanks and keep making suggestions
