I converted my Senior to a tail dragger. It is actually pretty easy. Not cheap though. Reinforced the inside and outside where I mounted a TNT main gear. Then I added a servo to control the tail wheel - Hitec 81. Electronically linked the tail wheel servo to the rudder servo. It all worked great. Have an OS 70 FS for power. Want a nice Sunday flier. bob

I fabricated airfoil shaped aluminum wing struts for a Senior Telemaster that turned out really well. I was thinking that would be a nifty addition to really make a Senior Kadet tail dragger really look extra sweet/scale-like. Haven't got around to doing it on my own Kadet Senior though ... (Note the Senior Telemaster ARF fuselage in the pictures is red because it got smashed in half during shipping, I wasn't patient enough to wait for a replacement, and I couldn't find the matching yellow color at the LHS.) :-)

I did the tailwheel conversion to mine as well. Mounted an HS-55 servo in the fuse running off a Y-harness on the rudder and ran a pull-pull set up thrugh the fuse to the tailwheel. Added Springs to dampen the shock on the servo. Has been bullet-proof for over a year so far and the whole mod took about 1.5 hours.
