RE: U-C-D 3D question
Not a dumb question at all...
There should be a slot - it is hidden under the monokote. Use an exacto to poke the monokote. If you cannot find the slot, then simply cut your own. Make sure if you cut that the wire is up high enough to penetrate the rudder... and use EPOXY not CA on it when you install.

RE: U-C-D 3D question
Did not want to start a new thread for my UCD, I did my first flight (on a 3D)on mine today and it flew wonderful. I was a little unsure how the twin tank(4oz header on centerline with carb) and a 6oz over the wing balance point. The engine is a new TT91fs running 30% synth no caster I was amazed that it would hover at 1/2 throttle with a 15x4 APC and she was running so rich she looks like she is running a smoke system can't wait to lean her out. She had gobbs of pull out power.
Wow take about a slow landing plane and will do anything, she came out 7lb even with the twin tanks and a 1100ma battery. Hear are few pre flight Pict(I did not like the fact cover job)oh I did a few cutouts and lighting holes in the fuse

RE: U-C-D 3D question
I got Hitech 625MG's all around except for the throttle. They are fast an totally strong enough. Digital would probably be better for centering and programming, but not necessary for holdong power. I can come in a full throttle dive and give full up elevator the the plane snaps into a parachute with no hesitation whatsoever.
