I had just finished getting the control rods installed on my WM skyraiderll
put the 90 degree bend in the rod put thru the servo arms and guess
what I had tossed out the strapper keepers that go over the bend with
the empty box. then IDEA used 2 3/32 wheel collars this works great
there is nothing hanging under the servo arm to hang up on the top
of the servo case.As a matter of fact this is the route i am going in the
future with the 90 degree bend thing, you can use a little blue locktite
if worried it it will come loose If you have a problem getting at the collar
just take the arm off the servo first and no plastic to break

Looks good. I thought of using these on the bottom of a 90 degree bend but I kept thinking that just maybe they could come loose and fall off. Is yours a 90 or a "Z" bend?

its a 90 degree there is no pull on these so its secure just stops wire
from falling out
