I have just finished assembling Kyoshos Cap 232 60. The engine is a Saito 100. When trying to balance the machine I find that I need to add 565 grams in the front to get the CG properly (Empty tank). Is this normal??

If you've got the battery up under the tank and the radio gear as forward as possible, I'd guess you'll have to live with it. Be sure the balance point is correct. I've heard some arfs come with the wrong CG in the instructions. I have the similar Hangar 9 40 size and it balances perfectly with a 46 up front. Good luck.

Thanks!
I even tought that the fellow I bought it from had put the engine to close to firewall, but no luck there. I have a feeling that since the wing cord is 36cm (13.77") and you should normally have CG approx 30% of cord from the front which in this case should be around 11cm (4.33"). I'm looking around for tips from another owner of a similar plane befor adding anything or trying to FLY it.

Hi!
Got an explanasion on the measures from a Swedish guy! The CG is measured, not from the leading edge, but from the cut out in the front of the wing, that gives me the extra 1 1/5" that I need. Manual is apparently not really up to date,
