I have just purchased a sukhoi from cermark and am planning on using a zenoah g26 for power r/c universe magazine rates this plane highly after the required reinforcements are performed. I would like to know if anyone out there has this combo and if so I would like to know what size prop you are using. I am thinking an apc 18/6 w any info would be great.

We have one at our field. It has been flown with an MDS 1.48 and an Irvine 1.50. In both cases the wing loading was a bit high for really good aerobatics and the landing speed was high.
The G-26 weighs maybe a pound more than the Irvine? Plus tail weight to get it to balance. You're looking at a flying brick.

thanks for the compliment jim I have posted a lot of info on this site and I only expect the same in return I have put an extra servo for the elevator in the tail and moved battery and receiver to the back of the compartment and she balances out just fine with an all up weight of 10.4 lbs which i dont think is too bad I just need to see which prop people would recomend for this application
