Sorry guys... I was diganosed with Leukemia and that... well... kinda screwed up my head for a while.
I ended up working with RCU to do a full review... the plane is 98% complete and I will hopefully fly it in the next couple weeks weather permitting (it's acutally getting better instead of worse)
I will be going to have a bone marrow or stem cell transplant in about 4-5 weeks so I eally need to get this done.
Some overall thoughts.
the plane is built very well... would be excellent with the BME 110... I have the ZDZ 100 NG in it and it came out nose heavy because I didn't beliebe Max and out the engine as far forward as aI could... that'll teach me...
I ended up installing a HiTec 5735MG in the tail and balanced great... I am also using the Duralite PowerBox 40/24 on it with dual 4000's...Sweet system.. perhaps a tad overkill on this plane but still very nice... I did a seperate review for this here on RCU.
Total weight is going to be right at 30 lbs... A little heavier than I had hoped, but again, I installed canisters... (Which the plane was not designed for but easily converted for use.)
So... hang tight and I'l lpost here when the review is posted and ready to be cjhecked out wiht VIDEO...

It's covered with covering...
Seriously tho it's Monokote on the Ultimate... I don't think it is on the others... however, Max said it was a really nice quality covering...

Its good that they use Monokote on the Ultimate. All the others use China Kote - GARBAGE.. its terrible to work with. I had it on my Edge... stripped most of it off and recovered in ultracote. Some of the worst stuff I ever had to work with that chinakote! I literally had to use paint thinner to strip the color off the wood. My advice on the Edge - leave the covering alone if you can! It is very hard to strip / modify!!

Just an FYI... The silver on the Ultimate is not Monkote... it's something else...
Unless they changed it on newer builds...
