Default GSP 72" Extra tip stalling

I have recently bought a GSP 72" extra and fitted it with an OS 160, every thing is going well plenty of power flies very stable and gentle but then has a nasty tendency to tip stall especially pulling out of loops, i don't think im using too much elevator or eratic control movements but it must have power almost all the time. I don't know what i can try to see if i can stop this and make it a little less work to fly?

Thanks

Try reflexing the ailerons upward slightly.

Sounds to me that there is excessive elevator movement causing the flick (doesnt sound like a tip stall), especially if you are pulling out of a loop... Try reducing the throw slightly and see if that helps? Also, check that the lateral balance is ok from prop shaft to tail..

I had this plane for awhile, until the aileron CA hinges broke/stripped - but that's another story.

I too had problems of it snapping out of tight loops, etc. until I reduced my throws. It then flew very well. It is a good, nice looking plane but my TT Giles 202 flies much nicer with the same engine, at the same weight.

Reduce your throws and see what happens.

I have a Giles 300 and I had that same problem I would start a loop and when I applied more elevator to make it a tighter loop it would always snap out to the right violently too. I did some experimenting flying inverted and pushing forward on the stick and pow it almost flipped upright and over with no snap. I concluded that i had possibly a throw that was off or maybe an incidence issue. Because I had duel elevator servos I set the travel on the right one less than the left until I could haul back on the stick and it wouldnt snap. That worked for me now its an awesome plane to fly. That may not be the text book way to correct this but like I said no more snapping.
