I'm not sure the Alienator qualifies as a kit, but I digress...I'm getting close to finishing my IC version, and I'll be using an AP .15 in it. I really don't care to belly land it, and want to put an aluminum gear with pants on it (taildragger rigged), and wondered how I can expect it to fly. I'm sure someone has flown one with the AP. How'd it do? Think it's got enough left to lift the gear?
Thanks,
Doug

OK, here's the finished product...The AP .15 is, for the time being, swinging a Cox gray 8X4. I haven't tached it yet. Soooooo, what do you think? I added the gear, because the plane's made to use an MDS .18, and the AP is way lighter. Finish is .7 oz. glass & polyU on the wings and lower fuse, and polyU overall. PU glue & toothpics instead of epoxy. Overall, it doesen't seem to be overweight, but I have no way to measure it.
