Thanks for the info. I just recevied my copy of RCM today but I haven't had a chance to read the review. I also subscribe to RC Report so I will be looking forward to that edition. I have built the Great Planes Shoestring. I'm wondering if it leaves up to the advertisements that flies Cub like and can be put together in about 20 hours. Also, if you had to built it again is there anything you would do different. Thanks for the info.

I've seen the Shoestring fly, and yes it does fly very stable - even makes one of our club members look GREAT when landing!
Do different on the PT-19....maybe go for some 'struts' from Robart and use a different number than what they supply - I used only the '4'....other than that - noope.
What engine you thinking of using? Mine had an OS .91 and with the manifold 'extra' the entire muffler is out of site!
