Hi
I am about to assemble my Rascal 110 inch but cant decide
if I should use a OS 120fs, Saito 150 or MVVS 1.60 gas. (I would like to try gas but the Rascal has a very narrow fuz for its size)
Any suggestions ?
thanks
Tim

I believe Sig sells mounts for the FPE 1.3 which is a recommended engine for this plane. Go gas if you can. There isn't much difference in the price of a big 4stroker and the g26 or the FPE. plus no clean up afterwards and cheaper to buy gas for. I have a FPE 3.2 and the FPE line up seems to be well built engines

Also the FPE come with a pitts muffler from the factory, so that would be one less thing to buy.

I have a rascal 110 with hitec 605's all the way around and a zenoah G-38 on it. I have flown it several times and honestly I think the engine is a perfect match. Not extremely over powered but balls Zee enough to get you in the air and also out of trouble fast.
