Default Help to fix a problem with a wing.

I have built a new plane. Sig"s somethin Extra. When the right wing hit the fuselage there is a 1/8 in. gap at the leading edge and tappers to 0 in. 3/4 of the way down the wing. (Screwed that up at the begining)

Two questions :

Is this going to cause the wing to loose that much air flow?

If I put weather striping on the end of the wing to fill the gap will that be a good temporary fix ?[sm=confused.gif]

Thank you for your help in advance

Frank the one I built was simular. One wing tilted back and one forward. The problem was in the fuse. The fiberglass tube that the ALUM tube goes through was rough at the fuse. I was able to take a Dremmel with a sanding drum. Then lightly rework that area on both sides. Fixed it up great.

Another thing you can do is add a balsa false rib on the root rib and sand until you get a snug fit with the fuse.

I think I needed to do that when I built my 1st SE.
