Default Need Cut Off Switch Replacement

I have just started flying my Ultra Stick Lite with a G-26 for the powerplant. I bought the engine used from a fellow club member and it runs great. However, there is one thing that I do need to replace. The cutoff switch that came with it needs to be replaced. I don't particularly need the exact same type (I think it is the Zenoah standard one) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I might find one that would fit the bill? The current switch does not shut off the engine whether it is in the off or on position.

Doesn't Tower sell a servo activated cut off switch? Also if you don't have to have it on a servo any old switch would do. It only grounds the magneto to the case so it's a pretty basic thing to hook up. I'd check the connections and wires first because chances are they could fail just as easily as the switch.

Zenoah makes some fine pieces of equipment but their cutoff switch is not one of those fine pieces.
Just go down to the nearest Radio Shack and buy a heavy duty toggle switch to replace the Zenoah switch. I use the heavy duty switch simply because it handles vibration better and has a big enough handle on it to easily shut off the ignition quickly when needed. A slide switch is probably more reliable, but not as handy to use.

Building is easy.------ Maintenance is a chore.

Can a heavy duty Rx switch serve as a cut off switch?

BB and Herb, thanks for the replies. I thought a simple toggle switch would probably do the trick, but just wanted to make sure. We have checked the wires and it is definitely the switch. I could go to my LHS and buy the Zenoah replacement, but like it has been said, it's fairly low on quality.
