I have been flying my Saito 180 powered USL for awhile now and all has been going fine. Last night I was really wringing it out, high power spins, square loops that were probably too fast, and fun stuff like that. When I landed I noticed the wing was rocking in the saddle. The wing bolts were tight and secure but the dowels weren't. The left one was loose and wiggling around. The right one was still tight had burn marks around it and was sort of hour glass shaped. On the left one I can heat some epoxy a little and run it in around the dowel to tighten it up. But I am not sure how to fix the right one. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you fix it?
Thanks for any help.

For mine, I replaced the in wing dowels with solid oak doweling and also did as prophanger1 did by adding a plywood doubler to the back side of the bulkhead. Not sure if you can go back now and replace the in wing dowels, but when I saw the material they were made of it looked pretty weak to me. I also agree with adding the brass piping over the outside of the dowels as another possibility.

This is a problem with all the Ultra Sticks. On my 60-size I slipped a piece of brass tubing over the dowels and opened the holes in the fuse to fit the brass. Its the quickest fix and solves the problem. Good luck!
