I've decided to pull the GMS .76 engine out of my Seagull Extra 300S .60 and replace it with something else.....the engine has just given me too much trouble, and I'm tired of dead-sticking this plane (it's not exactly a glider
)
I'm wondering if anybody is flying this plane with the Evolution .61NT? If you are, are you satified with the performance?
I was also considering a SuperTiger .75 or .91, but I really don't want to add 4 ounces to the plane.
Thanks,
Mike

WHY DON'T YOU REPLACE THE GMS 75 WITH AN OS 91 TWO STROKE. THIS IS A SOLID ENGINE AND WILL LAST A LONG TIME. I THINK THAT THE OS 91 WILL BOLT RIGHT TO THE MOUNTS AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO REDRILL. THE GMS IS A CARBON COPY OF AN OS 61SF WHICH HAS THE SAME BOLT PATTERN AS THE FX SERIES. THE OS 91 WILL GIVE YOU PLENTY OF POWER AND WILL NOT ADD WEIGHT. THE 91 AND THE 61 SHARE THE SAME BLOCK.
