I've talked to the folks a Yellow A/C and they say they will soon sell an ARF version of their gorgeous 1/5 scale P-40 E. And now for the bad news. It will cost $2800.

It's about time some P-40's are coming out in arf...I just hope they look like a P-40!!!
The World Models one didn't look very good,if the CMP P-40 looks as good as their others like the Spitty and the Zero, they will have a winner and I will be the first one "online" to order one.

Thanks, I bought the world models version P-40 and am currently putting it together w/ a saito .82 4 banger... the quality of the kit is ok,,, at least it has econocoat and not that dam sticky vinal crap,, but I am seriously kit bashing along the way to try and make it look nice. Had to replace the majority of the hardware so it has been getting a bit costly for an arf. And am going to redo the camo in flying tigers green and tan.

But, if cmp comes out with one that is larger, i will definitely get one!

Thanks Again!!

FLD .I know what you mean about seriuos kit bashing . I still have a Global P40 in my storage room that is half way there . I started out with a simple "oh I just change the Green and Gray camo fil to green and tan " .Then I found myself stripping the entire air frame , adding flaps , rotating gear , full inetrior and sliding canapy . All the tuff stuff is done including the boreing servos installation .Now it sits ready for sanding, testing and covering . I just had toshelf it for a while because it was so time demanding ve the other ARF that I had in the box . I love the P40 but its one plane that I have to have looking close to scale , I have a VQ p40 done , nice plane but limited in scale accuracy . Almost tempted to buy a Pica 70" kit but I heard they are boxes of wood
