Default Kyosho CAP 232 Elevator Throws

Hi for you all.
I have a Kyosho CAP 60 and I'm having problems trying to setup the elevator throws. I just cannot set it to have 45º for 3D and have enough throw so it won't snap in the middle of a looping.

Thank you!

You can have as much elevator throw as you want. It is all in the way that you use it. Caps will not do tight loops without snapping out . You will have to ease off the elevator for larger loops and throw in some expo if you have a computer radio.

Default Thank you

Thank you very much. I think I'll have to dial some Conditions...

Oh, I almost forgot!!

I'm using about 140% on the high side of the Dual Rate and only 30% on the low rates.

Is it ok, or I should really try to use as much as possible for Low Rates and maybe dial in some Expo?

BTW: I'm using a OS 91 SII-P, Wildcat 20/20
9202 on elevator and rudder, 3004 on ailerons

Thanks.

I would think it is a personal preference. Many people like dual rates and some do not want to be bothered with flipping the switches. I myself like to use one rate dialed in with a lot of expo to smooth things out . Have fun with the plane. I fly the Kyosho 40 size cap with a 61fx and is a total blast. It took a while to get used to the flying characteristics of the "Cap" but the more I fly it the more I like it.

Default CAP 40

I'm finishing my another CAP (Kyosho CAP 40), and I'll be using a OS 70 Surpass 2.

What servo are you using in the rudder?
I don't think that I'll need lots of torque, so I'm using a 3003...
Maybe a 5 cell pack...

Use an servo arm that is 1.5 inches in length to achieve 3D throws on this plane. Just make sure you have enough torque on the elevator and rudder because the longer arm actually decreases the amount of available torque from the servo. I used high torque servos on my .60 cap.

Default Servos

All right... I'm using 9202 for the elevator and rudder and 3004 for the ailerons on my CAP 60, and using Dubro super servo arms.
But what about my CAP 40's servos? Do I need to use a 9202 too?
