Rascal 110 and homlite 25cc?
#2
Doo,
I have a Homelite .25 on an original Ultra Stick .120.
It wil fly, but with it being a symmetrical airfoil, it won't
come up on plane. It always flys at a high angle of attack.
So use those plane specs to check against the Rascal's,
weight, wing area, etc. If those are close & the Rascal has
a flat bottom wing, you should be good to go.
Good Luck!

I think it would make a great combination - I have a homelite 25cc and am going to convert it soon to CD ignition and build a Senior Telemaster for it. With the flat bottom airfoil - this should make a great easy flying airplane. You'll probably have to dive it to build up airspeed for a loop. Great for shooting lots of touch and goes. The homelight is a really good little engine - very well built. Mine even got to where I could hand start it even with the magneto on it. And it also started really easy with a heavy duty electric starter.
Yea - for just a nice easy flying airplane I think it would be great. Heck - now I may have to start looking for one. The engine is a heavy little dude - you didn't say if you all ready had one or not - so you might have to be prepared to shorten the nose to make it balance. It's a hard call to make having never seen the Rascal in person. Just might want to think about that. That's the reason I'm converting mine to a C&H ignition - to get rid of a lot of weight.
