One of the best 40 sized planes I have flown is the Fliton Extra 330, its truly amazing. My pal who has flown my Fliton says that the WM Extra 300L 60 is about the same as the Fliton ... now the WM Extra is bigger and cheaper!!! This I must experience!

Has anyone had issues with the elevator pushrods on this plane. Mine are so tight fitting in the tubes that the servo buzzes and the whole server trays twists as the arm is moved. [:@] I thought about getting smaller pushrods that would slide through easier, but the the supplied rods are 1.8 mm and the only thing less is 1/16". Cannot find anything carbon or strong enough below 1.8 mm in diameter. Thank for any help...

Hey bloomace, im also running a .91, balanced on the manuals recommended c.g.
How much does your planes weight?
What prop size are you using?

Im using a Master Airscrew 15x8, brings the rpms down a bit but flys great this way, no too fast not too slow, knife edges are very very nice..

Floats like a cloud when landing.

Sounds like its a binding issue, try to push the wires in individually, if they feel tight this way, you will need to either, get pushrods with a smaller diameter, very hard to find i guess, or change the pushwires tubes (PITA), what i would do is use some sandpaper on the pushwires, takes long to achieve results but its just my two cents, and if i am mistaken, let me know.

don't let this issue affect you, once you get airborne you will love this planes, i run with a 91. and a 15x8 blade with 5% nitro and 18% synthetic and 2% castor. balanced on the recommended c.g, Floats, floats, floats.

check my gallery to see mine.

I realize this thread is kinda dead but hopefully somebody is, listening...

I was wondering how you all thought this plane would do with the Zenoah G20ei. I realize it would not 3D, and that is not my intention. I want to do scale aerobatics with a scale plane and the WM Extra caught my eye. If someone could give the dimensions of the firewall including: height, width, and distance from firewall to end of cowl (spinner). Thanks.
