WebSite for Lyons Manufacturing?
Their ARF's were pretty good back in the day. They came out right as EZ stopped making ARF's.
Is the kit new in the box or has the plane been flown?
One thing to consider Mike is that the older ARF's didnt use todays covering materials. They were usually the plastic/foam covering with the colors/designs impregnated on them. Fine for flying around but impossible to repair.

Lyon Christian Eagle
I flew one with a YS 1.20. I bought it used from a hobby store. It took me a while to get the incidence on the top wing correct. It wanted to climb while inverted. Anyway, once dialed in, this plane made me look good. It would do some of the most wicked tumbles I have ever seen. Believe it or not, it would land at a crawl. Lost it due to a battery failure.

The last dist. was Indy R/C -these are built OK but plastic is poor fit and short lived if the kit is cheap go for it, if not forget it, ihave had the pleasure of crashing, a few of the Lyons, my 2 cents Fastlash
