Just to shout out about Hobbico. I recently was pulling out of
inverted flight and my Avistar 40's wing buckled and broke in half !
So sad {poor trainer} ,But I sent the wing back to Hobbico and
I'll be a son of a gun , They sent me a new plane today! So as far
as standing behind there product goes, Go Hobbico.

I epoxied mine too. It bent after about 5 flights. I ended up glassing the center section (after straightening the rod) and haven't had any further trouble. I'm amazed how much stress is put on the wing - I wouldn't have expected it.......

I oened up the the wings and installed mounts for the struts I built and anchored to the factory landing gear holes. Moved the gear forward(tail dragger now) and built a single set of wires on the tail feathers. Put in a Saito 72,which pulled the fire wall loose and required a little beefing up, and now we give it anything you can think of and it hasn't failed yet. A lot of fun to fly.
