Hi Guys,

Hope u can help ive just got a P47 Thunderbolt, but the covering is badly wrinkled....... ive managed to use a Heat gun and iron to get most of it out...... but the problem i have is the strips as shown in the pic below (the black ones) as it seems a different covering to the silver, and when anytype of heat touches it it either bubbles badly or cracks and the black comes off....... the stripes themselves have some big creases in which i would like to get out.............. i have tried all heat settings lower and higher

Any ideas guys ?????????? i was thinking of maybe ironing it all flat, althou this will crack all the black then put a self adhesive black strip over the top of the current ones ?????????

With that reaction, I'm wondering if the stripes are vinyl??

They might be as thier shinny ? any suggestions........ its a Flair Models ? Giant Scale Planes P47
