I owned that combo and it was perfet power for the plane. I did nothing to the firewall to make it stronger and it worked out just finr. I did hav to add 3 oz. to the tail but that was no big deal and the plane never has any tip stall until I wanted it to. The only down side to this beauty is the canopy...very week and care must be taken not to crumple it while handling it. I there that that I was very pleasd with the fit and finish and could not have asked for a better looking nor flying plane. It is a bit short coupled but the right hands and setup right basic 3D was fairly easy.

I fly one with the 160 and a bisson pitts muffler. Choice of props makes a big difference in performance. I prefer the plain master airscrew wood 18-6 for 3D and a top-flite 18-10 for pattern style flying. I would mount the landing gear backwards. You'll need to drill new holes but the ground handling is much better on both grass and asphalt. I added 6oz to the tail to get mine where I like it. Set your low rates and CG per the manual and you won't have trouble with tip stalls. Actually, the manual is wrong on the elevator if I remember correctly. It gives different up and down settings. The corrects settings are on the GP website. Good servos do make a difference. I'm using a couple hitec digitals on the ailerons, 9202s on the elevators and the rudder is a Futaba with about 130 in/oz torque. I tend to forget all the servo numbers. I originally had some of the low end tower servos on it and the upgrade was well worth the cost.
If I can think of any thing else I'll let you know.
