get the big boy you will love it. i have had one and put around 80 flights on it before a battery failure put it in the dirt. i am now building #2. i tried to fly my other planes(ultra stick 60 and a switch blade profile) but they just are not as much fun. hope to have this one going this weekend.

Big Boy. I have flown both the Ultra Stick Lite and Big Boy with a G-26 and I like the Big Boy better. It might weight a little more but the wing is thicker and longer and has better slow flight. The gear is taller for better prop clearence and the covering shows up better than the clear covering on the Ultra.

this stick will be your 2nd, 3rd, 4th plane??
Are You considering it to be big because, windy flying field, try next level of weight, first gas engine??

I'm going to be the odd one out and say USL! The JBB was designed for smaller engines and Jerry says it will be good on a .91FX.. Where the USL is designed for 120-140 2-strokes.

I've had the lite, the old white heavier US and now the Big Boy. Flew the old one with a TT 3000 and G26. So far, if I had to choose one over the other, I would have to say the BB. If only for one thing, you can see it. You will never have to guess, ever, how you're oriented. Now the pull pull was a little more to deal with on the BB but not all that bad. And I do like the ground clearance. And with the G26 I mounted my rudder servo in the tail and my battery also. And still needed 1 1/2 oz of lead in the tail. This plane with a 120 FS would be great. It flys like a trainer.

Boy that thing is heavy without anything on it! I still like the BB and it's 80" span. I didn't actully put all of that in the back to balance it with the G26. I used the pull-pull in the stock position for the ele and mounted the rudder servo in the rear on top of the fuse along with the battery. Also you need to make sure when you open the wing for the servos that you cut it in the right place. RVator cut mine and "uh-ohh"[X(]. Can't imagine those other planes flying better than the BB.
