Default Is it safe to construct 2 piece wing on shoulder ARF big 81in trainer?

Hi all

I just bought a WM Super Senior Frontier 46 which is a copy of the SIG Kadet Sr. The instruction called for single piece wing but at 81in span, I rather have it 2 piece. Only a 12 in hardwood spar with a dowel that is 6 in long. With 2 wing bolt at the rear and front notch, I'm building a blind nut into the wing chord so it will remain tightly 1 piece.

By the mere fact I'm not epoxy them together, do I compromise the wing strength? What else can I do?

The AUW is about 7lbs with OS70FS. This will be my lazy and putt around plane. I have flown both scale and fast plane so I'm careful of not overpushing the plane.

Rgds
