Default S2B Ready for flight!

If the weather gets better (it's been raining for 3 days now ) this bird will fly this weekend!

One of my favourite planes ever. That master Airscrew has to be replaced with a real prop.

You'll love your S2B, it looks great! After all... what's not to love about a Pitts?

First 2 flights report...

Finaly the weather cleared, yesterday spent all day adjusting the new MVVS (it's getting cold!) [:'(]... finaly got it running today the throttle-up is still not perfect, but these engines need a lot of break in time in to run well. But at full power it runs A1

First flight went well, not much trim at all! Unfortunately on the second flight the muffler got loose (not enough Locktite on the srews )... lost one, didn't find a suitable replacement for it so that was that.

It looks great, flies even better! Some minor adjustements like more toe-in on the mains and stiffer tailwheel springs are needed for better handling on the ground. And BTW it's NOT easy to stick the landing, it just wants to get back in the air...

Birddog, nice bipes! Maybe you can tell me how to land the Pitts without balooning ?
