Default Engine too long

Okay, here's my problem.I am assembling a Kange Texas Hurricane ARF.I have a Airhobbies 3.2 that I am wanting to install.Problem is the engine is too long or the cowl is too short.lol.Do I cut the motor mount box back towards the fire wall or what?

I'd suggest you call Kange and get their thoughts on this one. Chanches are you could end up with a CG problem also because of the eng. size/weight. My thoughts would be to remount the cowl but I don't know the plane. ENJOY !!! RED

Take the muffler off the back of the A/H engine. Throw it away, or take it to the rcycler. It weighs a ton. Now make a plate, for the engine mount out of 3/16" aluminium. Get a good pitts style muffler.
