Default Sig Rascal 40 help

I am almost complete putting together this plane and had one question about running the antenna wire, it calls to run through the fuselages and out the rear bottom near the tail wheel bracket. Any tricks or good ideas on doing this? I though about using a coat hanger wire and running it through to the drilled hole at the bottom of the rear.

Thanks

Philip

I have used a wire to fish an antenna tube first, then you can just slip the antenna wire in and out if you want to change rx. I tend to use the Deans 2 piece short mast type antenna. Also looks cool. http://www.robotcombat.com/marketplace_rc.html

Hmmm. That Deans antenna does look cool. Gotta try that. I just route the antenna out the bottom of the fuse and attach it to the tailwheel bracket.

Agree with Timoteo, just exit the fus near the rx and run along underneath and connect near the tail wheel with a hook and elastic band. Used that method for the last three years and over 200 flights. Nice plane, you will enjoy the easy flying etc.....HH
