Is this ugly or what, what were they thinking when they used this scheme, they really need a ARC version of this, it might help!!

Gotta agree with you on this one... not the best looking Cap on the market. It does emulate the full scale, but I'm not to fond of that either.

I'd like to see H9 do more 40-60 size scale airplanes. Their bigger scale stuff looks great, and I'd like to see that carried down to the 40-60 size models.

It seems they are actually going in the opposite direction, bigger and more expensive models. Just look at the new CAP 232, they scrapped the 1/4 scale 73 inch $300 model and are making a new 80 inch $500 model. I bet the big planes dont cost them much more than the small ones so they are pushing in that direction. Much more profitable for them.

Thats the same ugly scheme Kyosho used on their .60 sized Cap.

I agree, an ARC would be good.

It reminds me of the Kyosha (sp?) ARF that has been around for awhile which seems to be on sale a lot. There are better choices for looks. Perhaps H-9 purchased some from another company and put their own name on it.

I was hoping it wasnt just me that didnt like that scheme, where did H9 get their input from on this scheme, all their other schemes look great. My LHS has had the kyosho 60 size sitting on their shelf for the longest, I know it probably flies nice, but who wants a nice flying ugly plane.

Default I agree.

Looks to me like H9 just had a overstock of grey ultracote. Gotta sell that stuff somehow!

This is a much better scheme. ->

Same price, too.

If you had an eight year old son?... this thing would be perfect. ;-)

Mine is fourteen now and I don't theenk he'd go for it.<g>

I don't know who came up with it... their latest ARFs are spectacular... up until this lil' battle ship. LOL

I got the opinion of an expert. I asked my eight year old daughter, Jessica. She said "It's kinda funny looking. I'd like a different color better". She has a World Models Cap 232-40.

I have the Kyosho .60 size version of this ugly duckling.. If you can get past the ugly colors, you'll enjoy flying it. I bought mine because I got it real cheap at around $160 and I never tried a Kyosho ARF. The quality is great -- the colors are ugly.

The more I fly the .60 Kyosho version of the plane, the more I like it.... In fact, I ordered another... Damn this thing flys smooth... People at my field like the looks, as it does look quite different in person.. I keep asking everyone.. "Isn't this thing ugly?" ... every answer is "No.. it looks sharp.. ".. I guess it grows on you quickly in person..
